Ain’t No Mountain High Enough

Hambleside Danelaw have long been supporters of charitable events, and our employees are no different.  We’ve had skydives, cake sales, mountain climbs, and so much more.  There have been some weird and wonderful ways of raising money for worthy causes.

Which is why we are delighted to announce that we are sponsoring our very own Paul Lambert to complete the Three Peaks Cycle Challenge.

Readers may be more familiar with the Three Peaks Challenge, in which participants climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales.  The Cycle Challenge includes these ascents, in addition to a whole lot of bicycle riding – with Paul and his team expecting to cover 494 miles on their bikes.

Not only are Hambleside Danelaw a sponsor of this monumental journey but we have offered the use of one of our vans to help transport the bikes and spares.

Paul is taking on this challenge to raise money for two wonderful causes.  The first is Glenfield Hospital, which provided exceptional care to Paul’s mum after two heart attacks, a stroke, and pneumonia!  She is now back to gardening and is doing very well.  The second charity is Scotty’s Little Soldiers which provide support to bereaved military children.

To learn more about the challenge, take a look at Paul’s Just Giving page.  We are so proud to have employees with such compassion and drive.
