Amanda receives a Distinction in Certificate in Construction Product Sales

Congratulations to Amanda Davis from the Hambleside Danelaw rooflights team on receiving a Distinction in Certificate in Construction Product Sales. The award was presented by Brian Boley from Howitts Associates and Andy Rotherham of the National Skills Academy.

Efforts towards the certification saw Amanda working outside of company hours, applying new skills to her work and spending time putting new learnings into practice. The achievement demonstrates Amanda’s knowledge of rooflights products and will now give her a more structured way of dealing with projects. The process has also given her new relationships within the industry, and helped to establish a stronger career path.

Amanda said: “The course has given me new skills and broadened my understanding of the construction product sales process and factors and people that influence it.  Hopefully by putting these new skills into practice will help in identifying and securing new business, improve existing customer relationships and ultimately lead to an increase in sales.”

Vince Cranmer, longstanding rooflights Director who recently hung up his rooflights boots, came out of retirement to attend the ceremony along with newly appointed Roof lights and Cladding National Sales Manager, Paul Hanratty.
