Our Hero Product Fast Flash was showcased at Probuilder Live 2018 in Alexandra Palace, London and Event City, Manchester.

Both shows were a success for all our Danelaw roofing and ventilation products and our GRP Flat Roofing System; Dryseal.

At Event City, Roger Bisby had an exclusive demo area where he invited a few manufacturer’s to do live demonstrations of their products. We were one of those manufacturers. Our animation demonstrates the IDV and TIDV dry verge systems being installed, uploaded to our YouTube channel;

Interlocking dry verge systems prevent weather ingress and mortar degradation at the roof edge. With a market leading 355mm maximum batten gauge and clip over design for simple installation, this system is suitable for use on new builds and refurbishments at any roof pitch.

Product Features

  • Interlocking dry verges are designed to minimise water run-off preventing staining on the verge and gable wall
  • Suits all commonly available single lap concrete tiles between 260mm and 355mm batten gauages

Green Roof added to Dryseal GRP flat roof system - NSBRC

The stand that delivers

Our GRP flat roofing system Dryseal is featured as a permanent display at the NSBRC. The National Self Build and Renovation Centre is open to the public all year around, featuring quarterly events which focus on such topics as innovative green building methods and products.

We are now into our second year of showcasing Dryseal at the NSBRC but why? What benefits does it have for the system, the Hambleside Danelaw name and product visibility?

Andy Fell, Dryseal Manager is extremely positive about the centre “We were initially looking at ways to support our contractors and felt that using individual locations would be too restrictive and costly. We came to look at the Centre and felt it was fantastic. I feel that the permanent display has been worthwhile for us to highlight our top-quality system. To date, we have had over 140 leads created via the bar code scanners and at shows can meet face to face, when information and advice are initially exchanged and then followed up; a great way to build strong relationships.”

The Dryseal GRP roofing system is continually growing as an established and recognised product within the self-build and housing sectors. Having this permanent presence gives us the opportunity to continuously market Dryseal to an extremely relevant customer base. The stand markets itself as the features and benefits of Dryseal are permanently on view with literature available when
one of our team are unavailable to talk to.

Installation of Danelaw Duo Tile Soaker

We have posted a new video to the Hambleside Danelaw YouTube channel for the Installation of the duo tile soaker (HD DTS):

This product can be used with interlocking duo tiles, including the Forticrete Gemini,  Forticrete Minislate, Marley Ashmore and Redland Duo Plain types. It can be finished with a traditional lead flashing or alternative flashing such as Fast Flash. It is a great alternative to a continuous abutment soaker.

The individual soakers range is compatible with a wide range of tiles and slates with both right and left hand options where required.

Application

A range of lead-free preformed soakers for roof abutment details covering interlocking flat tiles, single lap slate and plain tiles, and double lap plain tiles and slates. They are supplied preformed to save time and effort on site, and are finished by the use of a lead or lead replacement flashing product.
