Hambleside Danelaw invests in the future with new injection moulding machine

Hambleside Danelaw Ltd has installed a new state-of-the-art 230 tonne Sandretto injection moulding machine at its roofing products manufacturing facility in Daventry.

The British company’s investment is a major sign of confidence that the worst is over as far as the economic downturn is concerned and that the company is gearing up to take advantage of increased orders for its injection moulded products.

This new ‘general purpose’ equipment will complement the existing range of Sandretto machinery that Hambleside Danelaw already has operating in Daventry and it will give the company capacity to produce components up to 1400 grams in all thermoplastics.

As a manufacturer which has successfully reduced its annual carbon footprint every year since 2005, Hambleside Danelaw is pleased that the new machine delivers high performance with reduced energy consumption.  Other advantages of the new model include:

• larger than average platern and tie bars
• variable displacement pump efficiency and
• multi-level ID Access with historic traceability.

Hambleside Danelaw uses injection moulding machines in its production of a range of roof and wall ventilation products.
