Keeping the VIBES alive

Hambleside Danelaw has been notified that we have been shortlisted for a VIBES Award.  The VIBES (Vision in Business for the Environment of Scotland) Awards identify Scottish businesses that have shown commitment, action and achievement in reducing their impact on the environment. The awards are held each year to recognise and showcase best practice.  We have been successful in winning a VIBES award twice previously.

There were a record number of entries this year and Hambleside Danelaw has made it into the final shortlist of eight organisations.  Our entry detailed the reduction in our Carbon Footprint in the last five years of over 78% and the measures we took to achieve this.

The next stage of the VIBES process is for a site visit to be conducted by a team of judges at our Dalcross factory in Inverness.  This will take place in September and the winner will be announced on 26th November at the Awards Ceremony in Edinburgh.
