National merchants come together

The National Merchant Buying Society (NMBS) held its annual exhibition in Telford on Wednesday 15^th May.  Hambleside Danelaw was in attendance to promote roofing products, meet with existing and new customers and network with members.  Merchants were able to take advantage of discounted products and exclusive offers if they placed an order on the day.

Over 500 delegates came through the doors and 225 exhibitors took part.  An eight foot tall mechanical robot, named Titan entertained guests throughout the day by singing, dancing and performing comedy impressions at regular intervals.

Chris Dalgarno, Richard Spreag and Emma Hart manned the busy stand.  The first 100 people to visit received a free T-shirt depicting the Hambleside Superhero which was an effective incentive.  Several enquiries were made to follow up on, including an enquiry about our new soakers. Chris Dalgarno commented, “The exhibition was a great chance to cement relationships and to put faces to names. We received some excellent feedback on our products and services.” Many orders were placed on the day which was an excellent achievement, and the merchants were pleased with the exclusive discount.  All in all a successful day!
