Pitched Roofing team visit Leeds College of Building

Hambleside Danelaw’s Pitched Roofing team spent a day’s training with the students of Leeds College of Building. In February, the team of 12 learnt how to fit roofing products onto both slate and tiles roofs.  The knowledgeable 2^nd year students put the team through their paces showing them how to fit a roof, including how to work out the best fit of tiles.

It was a valuable day, and all the team learnt about roofing techniques and how new regulations dictate their processes. The team found it interesting meeting young roofers and hearing about the realities they face on site.
